How it works
The trial, the key, and the questions in between.
Written so a hospital IT desk can read it before installing. Nothing here is a surprise later: what the app does on each day, what leaves the machine, and what does not.
The trial
Never a locked screen.

Every package on from the first launch, as edition "Trial", with a quiet Trial — N days left · Enter key pill. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Activate the free month
The app asks for a name and e-mail address and requests a trial key for its Install ID from this site — 30 days on current builds, 14 on older ones, the most their verifier accepts. Once. If the machine is offline, get the key on the Activate page and paste it.
Delayed open
Every launch shows The trial ended on … with a two-minute countdown, then the app opens and works fully — every package still on. A key removes the wait at once.
Interruptions
The same two-minute pause returns every fifteen minutes while the app is open. Your studies are never locked away; the pause is the whole nudge.
A key pasted at any point ends all of this immediately, without a restart. Turning the clock back ends the trial for good — the app notices, and a clock set right again does not revive it.
Questions
Install IDs, keys, machines.
What is the Install ID?
A 16-character id (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) derived from the computer's own identity — Windows' machine GUID, macOS' platform UUID — and kept in the app's data folder. It identifies the machine, not you. A key issued for it is refused on any other machine.
Where do I find it?
Station: tray icon → Settings… → Licence, or http://127.0.0.1:8130/settings. Viewer: Menu → About, or the Enter key link on the trial pill.
What leaves the machine?
For the free month: the Install ID, the product and version, and the e-mail address you typed. For a purchase: what you put on the order form. No study, no image, no patient data — the app has no path to send any, and the licence server has no place to receive it.
Can I use one key on two PCs?
No — one key, one Install ID. Buy one licence per machine; from five, ask for a quotation and we key every machine in one go.
I replaced the computer.
Write to [email protected] with the order number and the new Install ID. We re-issue the key for the new machine and retire the old one.
The workstation has no internet.
Fine. The seven days need nothing. For the free month or a purchased key, use this site from any phone or PC with the Install ID, and paste the key by hand. Keys are checked offline, inside the app.
What does a licence include?
The edition's packages, on one machine, with twelve months of updates and support. When that lapses the app keeps running on the version you have; renew for updates.
Refunds
You had a month to decide, so we do not refund a key that has been issued — except when the software does not run on the machine it was bought for and we cannot fix it, in which case we refund in full.
Is it cleared for diagnostic use?
Clearance depends on where the software is installed. Ask us about the status in your jurisdiction before relying on it for primary diagnosis.
